5 Mile Gear

This is a list of the different items I use to scout, hunt, and harvest Trophy Whitetails.
Hope it helps get an idea of what to expect while hunting here and maybe it will help you be more successful on your hunting grounds.

In action... And upside down to get an idea of how these were built.
I use 12 feeders at one time or another through most of the year. This is a 55-gallon drum with pipe welded to the bottom rim and a rebar support rail through the middle of them. They all have four legs. The size of the pipe is not as important as making sure you have a good snug fit. I think I had to use Schedule 80 for the outside sleeves and 1 1/2' for the legs.  All of my feeders use a Sunslinger Motor and for the most part they work flawlessly. Through the majority of the year I feed a special blended pellet that tends to bind in the heat but these spinners never let me down.

Trophy Rock and Rutwear
The first ensures that I get the scouting pictures I need to make educated decisions about the
quality of deer we are hunting and the second allows me to be confident and comfortable
while I am hunting. Both are fantastic products and I will not go a season without either of
them. If you don't use Trophy Rock you should and if you haven't tried Rutwear...
What are you waiting for?

1,500 Pound Bar 6 Deer Feeder
We had 3 of these built for our more heavily populated locations. They hold 1,500 pounds and on the bottom is a Sunslinger motor. They work great and are going to be a huge asset once the season starts and traffic is cut down to
Hunter only entrance and exit.

For pictures of the different blinds and towers we have set up take a look at the STANDS page.

I am an authorized Dealer for the following fine products. If there is anything you need
I can help you get it and usually at a great price.
